Farepoint ("we", "our", or "us") provides transit fare collection and SACCO fleet management services through the FP Terminal conductor POS app, FP Console administrative app, and the web platform. We are committed to protecting the privacy and security of your personal data.

• Account Information: Name, phone number, email address, username, and encrypted credentials.
• Transit & Transaction Data: Fare payment timestamps, amounts, payment methods (M-Pesa, Cash), vehicle registration plates, and conductor references.
• Device & Usage Data: App version, operating system, and crash logs to maintain service reliability.

3. How We Use Information

We process personal and financial data to:

• Facilitate real-time fare payments and M-Pesa STK push transactions.
• Provide SACCO administrators with fleet revenue reporting and crew management tools.
• Comply with statutory tax and financial reporting requirements in Kenya.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We never sell personal information. Transaction data is securely shared only with authorized payment gateways (e.g. Safaricom M-Pesa) solely to complete payment processing.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and personal credentials at any time via our Account Deletion Portal. Transaction histories are retained in compliance with applicable commercial record laws.
